Brannen-Cooper 14k Gold Headjoint

I have recently switched to a Haynes headjoint and am looking to sell the Brannen that has served me well for years. I am a recent graduate of the Butler School of Music in Austin, TX and studied flute at the University of Michigan prior to that. I purchased this handcrafted Brannen-Cooper headjoint new from Brannen Brothers in 2008. Modified Cooper model, 14k rose gold tube and embouchure. Velvety and smooth sound, very responsive with stellar intonation in the high register, esp. high C and D, a feature which I have not been able to easily reproduce on any other headjoints I’ve played! I bought a new rose-gold crown for it in October 2011 which gave it even more depth and body. This model is for sale from Brannen for $7,280, I am selling for $3,500. This is a great option for advanced students wanting to upgrade but not switch to a completely gold flute, as well as for professionals.
